The pilot format

  1. Stage 1

    Seeding

    Eight teams of three riders, seeded one to eight by the organiser or by a recorded random draw.

  2. Stage 2

    Head-to-Head

    Knockout pairs, 1 v 8, 4 v 5, 3 v 6 and 2 v 7. The best team in each pair goes through, to a single winner.

  3. Stage 3

    Grand Final

    Three rounds, every team in every round. The order of go is reset after each round from the running team totals.
